Have a mystical Summer!
I needed reminding of just what exactly a patriot is. Merriam-Webster’s definition is: “One who loves his or her country.” Well, then that makes me a Patriot and I say that proudly, and my head held very high.
We live in a beautiful country that has everything anyone could want or need, so let’s focus on that for today. Let’s keep the focus on Independence Day. We must keep moving forward, like a gyro sphere, but we must always remember that America is a wonderful, free country and I know that I, personally, would never like to live anywhere else. Period. Does that make me a Patriot Extremist? Nope. It just means I like where I live and am proud of us.
As a people, as ALL people, we need to stop focusing on all the “Anti” stuff that’s going on outside and sometimes inside our homes. Let’s have a peace rally instead of an anti-war rally. What happened to sit-ins? They were quiet, and people sang songs of freedom and joy at them. Not what’s happening today.
Also, let’s focus on all the good things that other folks do or are. Let’s not focus on the stuff about them that we don’t like, disapprove of, or disagree with. The Bambi cartoon said it best, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” What’s wrong with that? If more folks conducted their lives and opinions like that, it may just help our atmosphere. It can’t make it any worse.
It seems that everyone with a microphone in front of their face has an opinion about our country’s leaders or hopeful leaders. Even regular television shows are blasting their opinions in the dialogue between characters. I do my best to not be ticked off by it, but why put it in there in the first place? Can’t these skilled writers be more creative and not push their one-sided opinions on us? How about saying something good about someone instead of always pointing the finger. Remember the saying that for every finger you point at somebody, there’s three more pointing at you. If you’ve never heard that before than write it out on a piece of paper and hang it on your fridge or somewhere that you can see it regularly.
I don’t care what sex, race, creed, or color you are. If you woke up on the right side of the dirt this morning than you got a great start. Wouldn’t you say so? Let’s try making that single thought on its own get the groove going for us becoming a happier, hopefully better, individuals. Keep the attitude positive and the Universal flow will flow right to you.
Have a happy day and remember to say thank you to five things you’re grateful for before drifting off to sleep tonight.
I am filled with the true spirit of love, gladness and gratitude. I am filled with the expectancy of only good things. The vibrational energy of life flows directly to me and through me. I have no anxieties for the future, and absolutely no regrets for the past. I move from fear to faith. I let go of all doubt, distrust, worry, and fear. I am changing the direction of my life by focusing my thoughts on Divine Guidance. I have faith in this Divine Source to guide me.

Nothing in all creation, not in any sphere of the Universe, compares to being born into time and space without any recollection of your past; having to find your own way when lost, your own courage when frightened, and the infinite powers at your disposal when challenged; left to the elements to rediscover your supremacy over them; driven by your passions so that you might rise above your humble, naked beginnings, and ultimately see through the illusions that had trapped you. To find yourself, once again, high upon the throne of thy Kingdom come from whence it all began.
Either that or you were dared.

I am filled with the true spirit of love, gladness and gratitude. I am filled with the expectancy of only good things. The vibrational energy of life flows directly to me and through me.
