Turn Away
Something bugging you? Turn away from it. Someone driving you nuts at home or at work? Turn away from them. All other drivers are inferior to you and your skills? Just turn (drive) away from them. We cannot make others do things, say things, think things or act like we, the perfect people, (tongue in cheek, of course) do, so what choice do we have?
This makes most of us nuts; it makes me nuttier than a sh**house hen, but I don’t want to feel like this anymore. And it’s just way too out of control for this lady’s liking, so I’m going to turn away. I’m turning away from many, many things this year and I’ve just started.
As I inch closer and closer to a milestone age in my life, I see that the crazy things are just that - crazy, and most people fit into that category too. Most, not all. I’m going to surround myself with kinder, quieter, gentler folk because the crazies make me crazy.
And lets not forget that the only thing we can change is our mind, so I’m changing how I feel about all this crazy stuff and turning away. Will you join me?
