Silver & Gold (A Feng Shui Series)
I love that old Burl Ives song, but this article isn’t about Christmas. It’s about keeping in the theme of things with good energy. Silver (metal) and gold always serve up good energy. Perhaps that’s why the best gifts come in small packages.
But here we go with Feng Shui. Silver can be almost anything silver or metal - be careful about using sharp objects. Aluminum foil is silver so use it. Gold? Lots of stuff is gold-colored; the Universe is not that picky about purity of ingredients, it’s looking for the color so lets serve up some gold. What have you got that’s gold-colored? Place the gold in the prosperity corner - for obvious reasons.
As far as Feng Shui is concerned, metal symbolizes organization and is for wealth and protection. Here are some metals you can use:
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
- Brass
- Sterling silver
- Silver plate
- Iron
- White metal
Metal is associated with money and is used in Chinese coins. The coins are round with a square cut in the center of them. Tie a bunch together with red ribbon or yarn then place them with your business records or maybe appointment books - even near your business cards. For Feng Shui reasons they really do seem to attract wealth.
