The Color Purple (A Feng Shui Series)
What do we know about this color? Besides being beautiful, and not the most popular choice for most folks, the color purple is very powerful. It’s in our advent wreaths and our Easter baskets. But in the world of Feng Shui it’s the top color choice for prosperity. Don’t believe me? Laughing at me? Give it a whirl and see for yourself.
First and foremost you must locate that Prosperity Corner in your house, or in a particular room. Each house has a corner, and each room in the house has one too, but we’ll cover that on another day. For now, imagine a big, giant tic-tac-toe board spread out on the floor of your Living Room. Stand in the doorway of the most used doorway to the room. Example, my Living Room has two doorways: one from the entrance hallway and one from the dining area. The entrance hallway is “the” main doorway into the room and the one that you truly “enter” the room from, so that’s the one I’m going with. Figure out your own by the same method.
Okay, so, standing in that true entranceway doorway to your living room, the northwest corner is your prosperity corner. That’s where purple needs to be. Now, in my prosperity corner are several colors, and purple just isn’t the dominant color - that you can see. Get something purple - anything! - and place it there. It could be a swatch of purple material placed under a candy dish, a purple crayon slipped into the potting soil of a plant, purple flowers, a purple sticker stuck on the bottom of a lamp - purple is purple.
Here’s the test: place purple in your prosperity corner and watch what happens. That’s all you have to do. Within seven days you’ll see.
